spanish regents visit trujillo

King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia, of Spain visited Trujillo today.  They were returning Moche artifacts that were looted from graves at the Huaca de la Luna,  and brought to Spain by conquistadors. During their visit, they made and appearance at Trujillo's Plaza de Armas.  They were greeted by cheering crowds, Peruvian dancers and a class of children dressed in traditional Spanish clothes.  The class was Caroline's.  She curtsied and had a perfect view of king and queen, although I think she was a little overwhelmed by it all.
