We visited 'Hogar de Esperanza' ('Home of Hope') an orphanage outside of Trujillo, with whom our mission works closely. There are about forty kids living here who come from a variety of backgrounds including abandonment, extreme poverty, and abuse. We got to play with some happy kids. (I won't complain about doing laundry for six...I won't complain about doing laundry for six...)
