With all of the activity during our reunion, it was nice to be able to take a break to celebrate our dear mother's birthday. The girls all went to lunch and then went out shopping, while some of us smuggled birthday presents behind her back (it's not as easy as you might think)! What a pleasure to honor the one who has shown us all the meaning of tenderness, nurture, and fierce loyalty.
