
Thousands of people have been rescued, but hundreds remain in Machu Pichu and Aguas Calientes, the village closest to the Lost City of the Incas. Parts of the railroad that transports about 400,000 tourists per year to the ruins have been destroyed by flooding. Many homes and businesses have been destroyed and some casualties have been reported. Here's the link to the full story.
