ransom room

The famous "Ransom Room" is the only standing Incan building in Cajamarca.  When the Spanish arrived to conquer in the 1500s, the Incan King offered Francisco Pizarro twice as much silver as would fit into this room, up to his outstretched arm, and a room full of gold of the same height, if he would release him. The gold and silver were brought, but the Incan King was never released.
