These natural hot springs were enjoyed by the Incans in ancient times. The original posa del Inca, where the Incan Atahualpa bathed when Spanish conquistadors arrived in Peru, is preserved and is intact with stone canals and fountains that date back to before the 1500s. The thermal waters are about 158 degrees fahrenheit.
