Hiking in the rain with small kids was no easy feat, but with the help of our friends, we made it (were hoisted up) to the Ventanillas. On the side of a mountain is a pre-Incan cemetery made of niches, that look like windows, carved out of rock. We hiked to the peak of the mountain and saw the beautiful valley. It looked like Middle Earth.
